Earbuds

The defining characteristic of in-ear headphones is that they consist of two small, round headphones worn inside the ear canal. Their shape and design are why they’re also called “earbuds”. There are several different kinds of in-ear headphones:

• Wired: These headphones can be connected via a cable to the device playing music, e.g. a smartphone, tablet or laptop. Using the controls attached to the cable, you can adjust the volume, hit pause, and more!
• Bluetooth: Wireless in-ear headphones can usually be linked to your phone or tablet via Bluetooth. However, Bluetooth headphones can still have wires – many models feature a cable connecting the left headphone to the right one. This means you can wear the headphones around your neck to keep them handy and avoid losing them. Plus, the cable on Bluetooth headphones is often equipped with a clip so that you can attach the headphones to your clothes, for example when working out or running. Volume and playback controls are also on the cable, for easy adjustment to your listening experience.
• True wireless: If you want to use your in-ear headphones completely wirelessly, you need to look for true wireless in-ear headphones. This version consists only of the two Ear Buds and a storage box. The ear buds are charged at the same time, because both true-wireless-in-ear and over-ear headphones run on integrated batteries. The charging box itself is charged by cable. As soon as the earbuds are inside, the headphones start charging automatically.

Your earbuds will pick up daily grit and grime from usage or sitting in your pocket, so you should clean them regularly. This is easy and quick to do, in just four steps:

1. Remove the silicone attachments from the earphones. Earbuds are not waterproof, but the silicone eartips can be removed and washed separately.
2. Gently remove any unwanted dirt with soap and water from the attachments.
3. If the dirt is too stubborn to clean, you can order replacement adapters in a practical pack of ten from us.
4. The delicate mesh on the earbuds themselves should only be cleaned with light compressed air, e.g. by blowing on them, or using a hairdryer on cold setting. You can remove stickier dirt with an adhesive strip. Once cleaned, you can reattach the dry silicone attachments.
